Lejeune, Jérôme (1926-1994) - Vatican Observatory

Jérôme Lejeune was a French pediatrician and geneticist who worked on the link between chromosomal differences and Down Syndrome.  He was a member of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences.  He was declared Venerable by Pope Francis in 2021.
